Thanks for the compliments guys. This is something I have been trying to figure out for a while and finally had a little time to work on it.
As far as selling it with the fans, I don't have a source for these that would allow me to sell them at a price any cheaper than you can buy them for from your local hobby shop or online somewhere. I bought the Associated dual fan setup on Ebay for less than $20.00 including shipping.

any idea if this would fit in the ft-tc4?

I don't know if this will fit an ft-tc4. I believe this is a shaft drive and the motor does not protrude out the side of the chassis. I will have to check on this. Might be a little tough to do as no one in my area runs one of these. I will see what I can find out.
As far as the fans go, XRAYFK is correct. I have puchased some of those cheap fans in the past and they have no where near the airflow or rpm of the Associated fans. Plus the Associated dual fan setup comes prewired with a plug to plug into your receiver.
