Default Elite 4500 vs Elite 3600 vs EA IB 4200 WC

Here's a West Mountain Computer Battery Analyzer II result showing the difference between an EA IB 4200 WC, and cheapbatterypacks.com Elite 4500 and Elite 3600 packs.

All packs have been in onroad racing use for a few months. The Elite packs have about 10 more cycles.

The Elite 4500 pack started out somewhat warm, whereas the others were at room temperature.

Those seem like normal results. The zapped and matched packs would definatly do better.

Surely the Elite 4500 pack in that test had a poor cell or two, the shape of the curve looks wrong even compared to the Elite 3600. Can anyone confirm the curve shown on the cheapbatterypacks website?

Anyone with experience of the life of the 4500?

I seem to be the only guy on rctech running the Elite 4500, so you guys will be left wanting.

Then sell your pair of 007's and buy a NT1. Run gas and stop whinning about batteries. Not really directed at you specifically.

The alternative I'm dreaming of is lipos. And yes, I'm aware that the difference will be very small. Ultimately our problems come from pushing whatever we get our hands on to the limit, and still wanting more.

Just wanted an update if anyone else has attempted to use these cells with any luck. Also, what would be the proper way to maintain these cells?

I ran the 3600's for Off road last year and liked them......they seemed to perform as well as the 3800's I had from IB.....My son still uses them in his T-4 in the kids classes and the run time is still there....I can't say anything on the 4500's.....the classes I run now use ROAR rules and only allow approved cells.......BUT....If rules aren't a factor I'd try a pack or two based on the experience with their 36's.

If they are used for club racing the price surely beats paying 60.00 bucks plus for one matched pack just to club race.

I run alot of the Elite 3600 packs in off road in stock and some in mod they have performed well for over a year now. I have also matched a small batch on a Turbo Matcher of the 3600's with good numbers most around 1.18 1.19 with a couple packs at 1.20. All were done at 30amp discharge. The numbers were pretty darn close to my IB 3600 and 3800 some better some a little worse.
