I like how people are voting for cars that arent even on the market yet! I believe the TC3 will keep its thone even after all the new cars are out. So my vote would be TC3...

True, really it should be between the TC3, Tamiya Evo 3 and Barracuda (R2 since it's newest and has useful revisions)

I've never seen a Tamiya so can't comment much, I understand it's very good once a few weak areas are sorted.
TC3's I've seen a few but not as many as it seems there are in other areas, goes well in any kit form but you have to spend to get the nice looking bits and a woven graphite chassis costs a fortune. You can get the drivetrain very free if you are prepared to work hard at it.
Barracuda R2, I've only seen one of these run, MINE but I've researched it a lot and it seems you can get a freer drivetrain than a TC3 with less work, something I can believe after building it and running it. For a very reasonable price you get an awful lot of top spec parts, lots of people would be happy to run it in kit spec. It doesn't need any mods to lighten it and the chassis balance is very good for a car with the cells on one side, probably as good as you're going to get before adding weights IMO it also looks considerably nicer than the TC3

If as many people ran the cuda as run the TC3 then I think it would win an awful lot of events, I kinda hope they don't though, it's nice to have something different

I too use to have have a TC-3..and I can tell you the R2 is Way more Ready out of the Box than the TC-3 is....Don't get me wrong the TC-3 is a Awesome Car......but there are better now'a days

ALL the cars i have possesed had been belts so I dont really have a word in this thread, but I have driven a Tc3 for a day at a local track and i lIKEd it very MUCH! So i would have to say TC3 because it's a classic and it still RULES! My first shaft would probally be the YOkomo Sd though.
