Default Novak smart - discharge tray

Hello,
I have just got my hands on a 2nd hand one. New to elec racing, how long should this take to discharge a 6 pack 4200?

Also, what is the correct procedure to do so. I dont have a manual with it.

Thanks!

Shayne,

I don't use the Novak Smart Tray as a discharger. It takes too long at 2.6V. Just use it as a cell equalizer before I charge packs.

Usually use my Competition GFX charger or a Deans bulb discharger (20A) to discharge packs down to .9V per cell, let them cool (and rest); and, then equalize them with the Novak just before charging.

Does a good job for its purpose.

I'm the guy who likes to save money, so I discharge the pack with my charger at 10A then each cell to .9V at 2.7A. I'm a cheapass.
