We will be releasing our new carpet body next week. It is called the "Mohawk" and the part number is 10074 std. weight and 10074L for the light weight version. In testing people commented that when they put the new body on, the car was so good they felt like they were cheating. It looks similar to the Alfa but with some changes to it that make it easier to drive, but still has steering and results in faster lap times.

I ran the "Mohawk" in testing last weekend and must say it's going to be a great body. Rear traction has been increased and stability is greater. Steering is basically the same as the normal Parma Alfa. Definitely made it easier to run 4 Magentas too.

Rest assured, this is another great offering to the Parma lineup.

Default the real deal.

this body is the next level on the rug. i know paul and the boys tested several versions/adjustments until they were happy. new traction compounds, and the new version of fastrack, are making everyone readjust. just like their alpha from three years ago, parma is again ahead of the curve.

i think there will be some available at scotty's, but i don't know how many.

This is just my opinion but I think the bodies need to be based on real car bodies. The whole reason I got into TC racing was because the cars looked like real cars unlike the offroad stadium trucks that just look ridiculous. I know I'm in the minority since everybody at the tracks use the same 2-3 body shapes that don't look a bit like they're based on any real cars. Sometimes it makes me feel like I'm at a NASCAR event where the Dodge Charger looks nothing like a Charger. I'm not knocking the aerodynamic and handling benefits of these other bodies because they do work, I just prefer a little realism in my toy car world. I'd love to see many different body shapes on the track at once but anymore it's gotten very cookie cutter. But, like I said, it's just my opinion and I usually race a different body just to make the field more interesting...currently HPI BMW M3 body. FYI...don't know for a fact but I've heard the Parma Alpha is the best current carpet body.

The Mohawk is super dialed... The best way I can describe it is it has the stability of a DNA with the steering of the original parma alfa. To be... It doesn't get much better than that!
