Power supply question

I have a power supply that is 14amps and am wondering if that is enough to run 2 ice chargers at the same time?

Unless your charging each pack at over 7amps..... :weird: ......... Yes. This is assuming its a good power supply that is a true 14 amp supply ....

14 amps should be fine for just charging...
but if your going to be running motors, AND charging at the same time that can be a problem. I've seen lots of problems where people build motors that pull 9-10 amps @ 1.5v for racing. add this to using 6 amps to charge, you will then max out that 14 amp. Or run your motors in at a lower voltage for breakin/cleanout.

Just something to think about.

I would suggest you don't charge at more then 6amps while running both chargers.

FYI, you can get a 24amp power supply at Radio Shack for around $100. That would run two charges up to 10 amp with some left over.
