I like to have a larger wheel on my radios. What I do is take an foam tire/wheel and true it the size I like, then take a dremel and cleanout the inner webbing on the wheel... on the Radio, I take the foam off of the wheel... and then use black electrical tape and wrap it around the wheel to the same diameter as the ID of the wheel... then jsut press it on...

There was a racer at the eXpress race that had taken a foam insert out of a buggy or monster truck tire, and used that as his wheel on a KO. It definately made the wheel a lot larger, but at the same time had a very soft grip.

Then again, you can always go the route Kris linked

HAHAHA Kris.

Just an FYI for all you guys... the only reason Kris had links to hand transplant photos is due to the fact that he was looking for successful brain transplant photos.

Kris suffers from R/C LOT, aka "Lack of Talent", so he was looking for a brain transplant from someone that is a good wheel.

You can also just slip a foam donut over the existing foam, pink or purple works good. You can also cut them to fit.

Making the wheel bigger makes the steering wheel "roll-out", in a sence to become bigger, resulting in slower steering times. KO-Propo makes a smaller diameter steering wheel for this problem. But, most of you are'nt 13 and have small hands, like me.
