Which springs should I use for asphalt? White on front and blue on the rear? What is the best shock setup? Any thoughts?

Most of the time Yellow front , blue rear with one-way. Blue-Blue or yellow-yellow with spool. Sometimes when grip is very good then White front- yellow or blue rear.

On medium grip asphalt w/ a spool, I like blue fronts and rears. Blue front and green rears when running on either a one-way, or low grip asphalt.

For carpet, try this:

http://www.yokomo.tk/

and go with "Tosolini SD CGM 04 Carpetnats"

Hi,

@Racingbod85: I don't like to copy setups because most of the time they don't seem to work. But a few things you could try:

Camber: I normally run between 1 and 2 degree. Mostly 2 because it's faster. But have a look at the tire wear. When I have only limited sets of tires I run max. 1.5 degree. That works.

Toe front: You have to look what you like better. I run 0 degree or 0.5 degree toe-out.

Toe rear: In stock I run different blocks. Sometimes it is really fast to go down to 2 degree. You'll have a lot of steering... In modified I run min. 2.5 degree.

Oil: I use only Associated oil so you have to look how you can compare this to your oil. 40wt all around with the Rayspeed pistons (1.2mmx3) works nearly everywhere. Sometimes I go a bit harder all around or only in the front. It makes the car less twitchy. I'll try this week a softer oil all around to see how it feels.

Springs: When traction is low I run in stock blue/blue, in modified blue/green. When tractions come up I switch to white/white and in modified to red/white or white/blue.

Damper positions: Nearly everywhere I run:
Front: Shock tower 3rd hole and the middle hole on the A-Arm
Rear: Shock tower outest hole and outer hole on the A-Arm

Cheers
Chris

they are:SD LCG Transmission Case 3,480 SD-302L
Motor Mount for the SD LCG 2,300 SD-304L

is this for a new tub chassis? the holes for the transmisson cases are exactly the same as the regular sd.

http://www.teamyokomo.com/japan/newp...s2005_6_en.htm all of the parts on are that link, including the steering.

and this one http://www.teamyokomo.com/japan/newp...s2005_7_en.htm
