The longer post did absolutely nothing for my car in terms of flex. My car feels like it's made of rubber when I twist it. Makes setting tweak damn near impossible

Steve, I'm also interested in a thicker upper too. Just thought I'd throw that in

Hi,

I`m thinking about a thicker chassis+topdeck since I own the car.
I built a prototype of a laminated tube chassis. I never finished it because it's really difficult to laminate it and very, very expensive. Perhaps I'll start a second try this summer.
I chipped my chassis a few weeks ago (cars lying on the straightway are never good) and now I'm thinking about an alternative.
I found a guy who is able to mill CFK and said he'll try it for me. Hope it works...

Cheers
Chris

Default carpet set-up fpr cgm

hello,
i was wondering if someone could be helpfull on giving me a set-up to try for the yokomo cgm.i am using d/pink rears and d/pink/orande in the front.i basically need to know shouck oils/springs/ride height/droop.the basics.i tride using the car with a 40 weight oil in back and a 60 weight oil in the front.white rayspeed springs in the front and green yoke springs in the back.and i had purple foams all the way around.well the car was to aggresive.so i changed to the d/pinks-d/pink/orange and it was pushy.so then i tride a sway bar in the back and it helped alot.but the car was very wondery exiting a turn.and at last moment of exiting it came around with a very bad wash.i ran my droop at 1.5mm in the back and 1mm in the front.
any info on a better way to start would be greatly appreciated.
thanks for youre info guys.

Does anyone have a link to the blank LCG setup sheet, in English? I can only find blank ones in Japanese.

Check the setup sheets you received with the box. Start from there and you'll always able to gear up or down. Good luck.

Default Question

Happy New Year Guys.....

May I ask what tracks are there, both carpet and asphalt between LA and Chula Vista? I only know of the Tamiya Track and SoCal. Are there other racetracks out there, even parking lot races on weekends?

I need to know which place to stay to be stratgically in between these tracks....

Any reply would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You Very MUch
