I heard it's alot like or rather it's based on the BD design. Going back to the retro design of a belt driven off road buggy. (or will it be a shaft) !!

There's pics of it on the net and it doesn't look anything like the BD other than it has belts. If anything it resembles the XX4 with the batteries in the rear and a mid motor setup. It will use the standard B4/Losi rear rims and either the Losi or Yokomo front rims. The shocks are a completely new design as well as the suspension.

One of the prototypes that was at the Off Road Worlds Warm Up looked a lot like the current BD and there are pics of that one floating about on the net too - perhaps the original poster is getting confused

Default cgm chassis shorting

Hi,

I just got a number of IB3800 cells, and assembled them in 6, with corally
style plug.

However, when I put in on my CGM chassis, the battery keep shorting.

I have file away the section where the plug is located, but, still not good.

If there any good solution to insulate the battery section of the chassis ?

1) put some tape or foam tape on the outside wall so the plugs do not contact the graphite.
2) re-solder the plugs higher so they do not contact the bottom ridge on the chassis
3) consider hard-wireing your batteries instead of the plugs.
