Hi agower and KO PROPO Staff,

I run on a high traction asfalt track usually with Sorex 36:s but also 40:s when itīs really hot outside. I run with a Hacker C40-6S and 8 GP2200 (!) soldered inline with a Schulze U-Force 75. Actually a pretty big differens in both punch and topspeed to run 8 2200:s compared to even the best 33:s and 37:s and I also make runtime with them obviously. I drive with 6 cells also but they are about 0.6-0.7 seconds slower.
Itīs the incredible punch out of the corners that the cells and motor produce together with my setting on the esc (66ms to full throttle) that destroys the outdrives. If I set the throttle to 300-400ms the outdrives will hold up but then I loose 3-4 10ths everytime I punch the throttle.

NIC-
9.6V of raw power would probably do it. Good luck with that.

yeah, was just thinking that, seems abit pointless to compalin when your running more power through them then the cars ment to have, 6 cells as 6 cell slots?!ŋ!!!

Default . . . . . The Need For Speed . . . . . .

NIC: Your need for speed is tremendous! But I think it wil be more enjoyable to drive your car in a race than beating the lap record at your track, which will never be recognized since you are using 9.6 volts. I think even if you use aluminum or steel outdrives, it has to give somewhere, so you'll go through dogbones / CVD's like what our going thru with the diffs.

To help your with your problem, get a NYLON REINFORCED TAPE, the narrowest you could find and re inforce the outdrives with it, go around the diffs 2-3 times. I used to do that to the old Pro3 Diffs which have the same problem. Hope it helps and good luck with your need for speed!

Default To those who have an SD/CGM/SDW/LCG and BD!

To those who have an SD/CGM/SDW/LCG and BD!

You can print this, fold and have it laminated!

Sorry I only run 48pitch, the 70Tspur is 0.6module, from the Tamiya TA05, I have a complete set of pinions from 16-30(0.6) and the size of the Tamiya 70TSpur is as Big as the 78T 48pitch Spur so I decided to include it in my list. Just edit it if you wish!!

Hope this will be Helpful.
Peace and Happy Racing!
