From what I've heard, some of those spectacular German tracks are government funded. Is this true?

It's not totally wrong but it's a bit too general. Every club (soccer, hockey,... and yes, RC-Car clubs as well) can apply for support by the government. The support isn't that big... The clubs can lease the ground cheaper or it's easier to get this ground... But little support is better then no support. We are happy to have this tracks in the south of Germany and they are very nice to drive.
I think we have a lot of nice onroad tracks here in Bavaria but nearly no offroad... who cares?!

Cheers
Chris

Does anybody have a CF shaft for a SD? I'm looking to shave every last ounce. I've got everything except the CF shaft. If anybody's got one that isn't terribly warped or broken, pm me or post and I'll send you a paypal tonight. (shookie: hint hint )

thanks

You might have to but you can always cut the wide tape in half. Your tape will last longer that way too -JB

I cut the tape instead of making the tape slot larger.....

Thanks JB and Salva

What all comes with the LCG? Mine is in the mail, so I'm tearing down the SSG and rebuilding everything. I just wanted to know what to set aside for the LCG and what I don't need.

Let's see, new main chassis, 2 piece upper deck, new motor mount, new steering setup, new bulkheads, new shock towers, aluminum servo mounts, CGM servo saver, and shorter dogbones. Then everything else comes off of the SD.

My LCG is not yet done, still ned some Ti Screws! I'm not using the delrin or heavy duty arms that came with the kit I think they are the same with the SDW. I'm using the graphite ones front and rear which up to now I'm still waiting for it to break!!

Have not installed a motor and still needs to go through a set up system.

I was too lazy to remove the Bnew foam bumper when I was making holes for the Body so--I cut it away!!!! Still have a Bnew spare
