hi,

just wondering if someone that has a bd and a lcg can compare how similar the shock absorber holes are, on the pictures they look very similar, if not the same.

thanks.

Raced my LCG yesterday for the first time. I haven't found the perfect setup for our indoor asphalt track, but I'm close. I race strictly stock. Since I didn't have a factory setup, I basically tried to use a setup that combines elements from the BD and the SD. In the end I found that the LCG seems to have a good amount of punch coming out of the corners, compared to my BD. I wasn't able to do a direct comparrison between the BD and the LCG because the track layout changed slightly since I last drove my BD. Also, my LCG setup isn't quite on yet, and I continued to have problems with my ESC and some glitch like problems.

I'm definetly keeping both although right now I think that I'm leaning slightly toward the BD because it's just so smooth. Who knows, if I get the setup right the LCG may become my first choice.

I'll chart out my setup, so that I can get some feedback on how to improve my setup.

No matter which car you pick, you're going to have a winner!

I have two words for you .....FERRITT COILS....
If you are still running crystals then you need them with almost every Carbon fiber chassis. Once you use them the glitch monster goes away well almost everytime. I glitched real bad once i got my SD but once i put on some Ferritt coils no problems...
But now I run the Spektrum or the New Dart system form Nimble Motorsports so no glitching anymore.
Hope this helps

Shookie, Im looking forward to your review on the LCG once you ve had the time to race it...

BTW,Masami finished 5th, thats not bad at all but its hard to tell how much this result is due to the car since Masami is just such a brilliant driver!

See ya!

Look for it Thursday morning.
I will post all that found.
So far so good.
I think I am going to make a change to the rear and use the 2.5degree hingpin mount...Might help with some speed.
We will see.
I think if you look at the REEDY results everyone who has one of the new cars.
I.e. Yok bd, Corally rdx, Xray fk05, Losi jrsx, AE tc4, Shu mi2, tam 415ms, or the new hotbodies car....All where in it.....The top five were all different.
1) FT TC4
2) FK05
3) Cyclone
4) 415MS
5) BD
So any of these are winner choices....
Great race to watch...
If I buy any dvd this year....this one will be it...
I got the pleasure of watching 4 rounds of invite class and lets just say....exciting puts it mildly.

Also this shows a shaft car can still WIN and WIN BIG....Makes me more excited about the LCG....wonder if Masami would have won if he used the LCG.....Hmmmmmmmmmmmm\
Guess we will have to wait and see.

Default Mr.Shookie/Matt Howard . . . . . . . or anybody

Gentlemen,

The LCG has not landed in our shores yet (manila,Philippines). I was hoping you could give some input on the difference in handling between the LCG and the CGM. Is it worth it to keep my CGM or just transfer everything to an LCG?

Lastly, is the LCG's handling comparable to an SDW?

Thanks!!!

Lem

If you run carpet....I would say test it first...if you run asphalt...get the LCG on there quick...Lighter faster and it has steering for days...Ultra smooth drive line also...if you shim it just right no binding and spinsssssssssss.

Thanks! We do not have carpet here, just asphalt all over. Although, there is rumor that a carpet track is being built just for the rainy season. Thanks so much for your input, much appreciated! - Lem
