Aluminum bones are more prone to breakage with a spool or one-way. Like Matt said, the ball diff will handle it.

how often should I replace diff parts????

i rebuild my diffs every race, just want to know how long the parts last (at least to keep max performance), I'm not that used to ball diffs, I ran gas cars mostly =]=]=]

the stock balls are regular steel and will get worn in a couple of weeks. I've run the same carbide balls in my diff for almost a year now. I just replace the diff rings whenever the diff gets gritty and replace the diff outdrives whenever they get worn. When I raced every week I guess I was replacing those parts every month or so.

those look as thick as the TC4 bones people are using with a spool so they should be good to use with a oneway or spool.

Yeah Matt they're pretty friggin' thick. I bought some of the TC3/TC4 composite ones too which are the same thickness. We'll see though -JB

Yeah, what do you guys do to change castor? Do I need to put spacers under the pivot block, but that will change the anti-drive.

That's definitely not a Yokomo bearing; it looks like an 'ol regular bearing I got once from my LHS when one of my ceramics busted. You know what I'm talkin' about, one that comes out of a parts tray behind the counter . Matter of fact, I think I still have that bearing -JB
