Matt, I have a quick question. My car seems to push going into the corners and then midway to exiting the corner, the inside wheels lift. Medium grip track.

I'm running;

front
#1 piston 50w
puple ae spring
Magenta red GQ tyres
droop set at 3mm with hudy
0 toe
-1 camber
stock caster
Copper sway bar

rear
#2 piston
copper ae spring
magenta GQ tyres
droop set at 3mm with hudy
1* toe in

all other settings are the same as mo's setup.

That's pretty much the setup that I ran but I ran less droop in the front, probably around 2-3 mm and the rear was 3-4mm. Try a silver rear bar as well, that should keep the chassis flatter and give you a bit more turn in steering that you're looking for.

Oops, the front droop should be about 3mm. Do you measure to the king pin or the arm on the front for droop?

I was going to try running a rear sway bar, only ran two q's tonite have to try it out sat. If the sway bar doesn't do it, what would you try next, stiffer spring(s) or thicker oil? Thanks.

for foam tires you want to measure how far the suspension lifts up before the tires lift off the ground. Have you tried different tires? Some guys have found that the GQ tires are softer than jaco/trc/or parmas and were having problems with tires lifting in the corners. If you're still having problems I would try a harder rear spring to give you more turn in and keep the chassis flatter in the middle and exit of the corner.

actually I do have a set of harder tires that I was going to try Sat. The tires really do feel soft. I ran one pack thru harder gray/black and then ran the magenta/red and went with them. I think it's lack of set up, that's why the softer tires seem to work at first. I understand what most suspension changes do, but not when to use them. Still trying to learn set up my onroad cars.

And thanks for the tip on setting droop with foams, I thought every on used a gauge? Oh well. Never asked actually, just assumed.

Hi Guys,

on the LCG conversion kit for the SD, we will work with Yokomo USA in the next few days and next week to come up with our best estimation of this conversion kit. As soon as we can come up with some more solid information on actual specs and pricing, we will set up a pre-order for the LCG as well.
