careful not to mount it too tight in order to
1- not tweak the chassis
2- prevent that it flexes less on the batt side than on the electronics side...

Default Rayspeed Towers and Yok Hd arm holes

Hey Guys,

I still dont have any of the new hd arms for my standard sd but it seems like i have been told they only have 3 holes instead of 4. Are those 3 holes the same as 3 of the holes on the standard arms and if so what ones? Also, same situation with the rayspeed towers, they only seem to have 4 camber positions, are they the same as 4 of the camber positions on the stock towers, if so what ones? Lastly, the shock top location on the rayspeed towers, " " I have a setup that uses hd arms and rayspeed towers so im trying to see if i can use what i have rather than buy new parts.

Thanks for your time,

Blake

Shook-
The Rayspeed conversion is the stiffer of the two; it's in-between the Black vers. and CGM.

Thanks,
just misread.
How has the Rayspeed been treating you?
I got a kick in the pants last weekend after tearing apart my entire car and re-built everything, reset everything to stock RS settings and found it to be very sound settings. I only needed minor changes to toe and camber to achieve the desired effects.
Man they must have really worked that setup to get it that close. Well at least for asphalt. I ran it at SoCal which is indoor high bit asphalt and then again at Hot Rod Hobbies which is medium bit (only cause it has lots of tiny pebbles) and is outdoor. Both times the car handled very well with the stock settings.
I will have to do more testing to get my final setup for asphalt but I am almost there.
I am really looking foward to the BD,
I got all new electronics ordered and on the way.....i.e.
Ko Propo PS2363
GM Racing SX12
Spektrum Receiver
I can not wait....

Anyone else using the Shooters amluminum inner camber link mount.
Here is picture of it.
I have one and waitign for another for the rear...
It gives a more horizonal line to the camber link.
Just wanted to know others thoughts on this item.
Thanks,
Stephen <><
I will also put a picture of my yok with it on the front.

I used the early version of the shooters mount and it bent real easily since it was so thin. I believe they've made them thicker since then. I liked it since you can put shims under the inside ballstud to slightly alter the camber link angle
