Mr. Shookie- I've only been to socal once and the time I was there I didn't have my car. Get with Steve and he should be able to help you out. Glad to hear your car is working better for you, good luck with the racing

Default A few pics of my 2 new Yokes

I just got back into the rc thing and thought I'd pick up a couple nice cars. Thought I'd post a couple pics of them. Yes I know they are too low to drive but they look cool slammed This is the CGM

crzydrifter:
it looks like you haven't filed and CA'ed the carbon edges yet. Not a good thing to do.

I've had some great times with my Black SD, hope you also do. I ran it with the Novak BL too, geared between 6.5(too hot) to 7.0(too slow)

Does anybody know about running 28mm foams on the the yokomo SD. They dont fit the steering block without grinding material off, this works fine, but I was wondering what people were doing about this problem. Is there a yokomo or aftermarket block out their?

I just put some Parma 28mm foam tires on my car and did not have to grind anything. Normally I run proline foams and I have to narrow the wheel to 26mm.

Matt a couple of questions, I have a ssg sd but I bought the cgm conversion kit because I heard the cgm is better on carpet. Well next weekend I will be attending a big race and wonder if you could give me a starting carpet setup. The only springs I have for the car are orange, yellow, and white. Also what oils and pistons should I start with. Havent raced touring in a while now so sorry for the newbie questions.

read back a few pages. I think he has suggested tosilini's setup for carpet w/foams. That's what I'm using, feels like it's on rails.
