I was under the impression that the new towers were so you can us the stock SSS (short) type shock bodies. I could be wrong though. I still use two rear old RS towers with the SS (long) shock bodies and they seem to work great for me. Now about setup I am still trying to find my way so my advice would be rediculous.
Hope this helps
also if I am wrong about the new towers please advice this gentleman and myself.
Thanks,
Stephen <><

I don't like the new front tower, the inner camber link holes are too high, even in their lowest setting, for my taste. The rear tower is nice, I would just get another rear tower for the front and cut the body mount holes off of it like we had to do with the old type RS towers.

no, your dampening is probably too heavy. The #3 pistons should be the ones with the smallest holes, try the #2 pistons with the same oil, that will lighten your dampening and your car should run better

If you've got the #1's on the car right now then the dampening is probably too light, give the #2's a try.

Thanks Jaybee,
I can not wait for the new Rayspeed version to come out. I am in the middle of putting a new rayspeed chassis on my SD right now. The old rayspeed is still good but I had a spare chassis so I sad why not I am probibly going to get the new vesion in a couple of months anyhow......I love the quality of Rayspeed. Always fun to build. My buddy came over yesterday while I was working on it and now he wants a Rayspeed...HAHA never seems to amaze me how nice they look.
Thanks agian.
