try a silver bar in the rear first and go from there. They feel light but they make a big difference in the handling of the car.

Matt, im now running yoke orange springs on the rear and a silver sway bar also i moved the arms all the way to the back. The track is quite grippy and im just wondering if i should change the shock oil?

Dan- it sounds like your dampening is pretty heavy. Try the 450 wt oil with the yok #2 pistons

i guess i need the front more responsive,

anyone try 2 or 3degree castors / or
camber links that are used for a car that pushes (increase front roll and decrease rear?)

mat whats your complete set up...
www.yokomo.tk has a couple of my setups that I use as my "base" setups for either a spool or a oneway.

What does changing the hingepin position in the castor block actually do?

I'm thoroughly confused about that one Matt ; and do you have any or know of anyone else's set-up sheets on the Rayspeed besides Adachi's? I'm not partial to track conditions, I just wanna gander at all that's out there?

Thanx-
JB

Im sure he's talking about the spacer in between the steering knuckle and the c-hub. In the kit instructions the spacer goes below the knuckle, therefore the knuckle is in the upper position, you put the spacer above the knuckle and it puts the knuckle in the lower position. If you already knew that however, I'm sorry I can't help you any further, I only know what it feels like on the track, not what it actually does with the geometry.

jaybee, look at the direction book for the ssg. the steering knuckle goes in the lower position,, now look at the directions for the sdw, the steering knuckle goes in the upper position. think of it as, which ever side of the c-hub, (top or bottom) the king pin spacer is on thats the knuckle position

If you run the hingepin for the castor block in the upper position and space the steering block up then it will lower the front roll center and will give you more steering. I usually don't like this setup but I'm working on a setup with this that suits my driving style
