Thank you Matt

For those of you that are concerned with the open gear box...I personally wouldn't worry about it too much. I ran the Barracuda with the open gear box for 2 years (and mostly outdoors) and only once did I get a rock get stuck inbetween the gears, and this was at a parking lot race that was full of debris (I don't know if any of you remember the big fire we had around Southern California last year, the track was filled with ashes and small rocks from the high winds....and yes, we were still out there racing )

Also, I want to point out that the price we set is very conservative, what that mean is according to our best estimation, it shouldn't fluctuate too much from what is currently set (if anything, it'll be even lower) and also with this pre-order we are trying to provide valuable feedback to Yokomo USA so they can get a general idea how many car kits to bring into US And there is no risk in pre-ordering with us (we do not charge your credit card, and once the kits arrive, we'll contact you first before anything else)

Personally, I think the MR-4TCSD WC is a great kit with a lot of value in it and I'm seriously contemplating on getting one myself to race with

Hopefully! Masami is looking really good for TQ and Easton should be able to get into the top 5 as well.

If im not mistaken that was at the Toyota Cup. I still have ashes in my pit bag from that day LOL. Open diffs are not a problem at all as I to race a car with open diffs.

Yes sir, I believe I got it before I left work today. Thank you very much!

I also chat with Billy Easton briefly on the phone today, he sounded a bit tired, but he sounds confident and relaxed about the race (I mainly called to check in with on the Speed Tech R/C spools that he is running) and seems like our spools are working well in all the yokomo cars

With the bars mounted (say, the thick copper one), and wheels (and of course shocks) removed, the car being on the stand, how high can you lift one side before the other side starts moving (ie when 1- all slop has been used and 2- the elasticity limit of the arb has been reached)? On my car, with a lot of work to compensate slop, it still amounts to a good quarter-inch (read 8mm for standard-measures folks). Which still makes me think it's a flawed design since cars don't lean that far... What do you guys think?

My 8th scaler with the blades arb doesn't react like that (but the arb are directly hooked up to the arms)... the other end lifts almost instantly!

re-post... this got lost in the SDW-555 talks

btw... broke my personal track record yesterday... 11.01s ... I've been chasing that infamous 10s lap for a while now... one day, maybe...

That's just the way these type of swaybars work. I just installed the new RS swaybar sets and it takes around 8mm or so before the other side starts to lift up. It doesn't seem like they would do anything for the handling but they do.
