Hey guys... is the steering setup in the CGM compatible with the plate-chassis SD's? Also, are the suspension parts in the SSG and Black Special cars made of the same material as the CGM? I'll be running the car on asphalt, with rubber tires, so I think the plate-chassis cars might be a better choice for me.

Thanks

Smcpot,

The shock towers on the ssg and black are different from the cgm but i believe all of the other parts such as arms, shocks etc are the same. The steering from the cgm will work on the plate chassis cars but you have to flip over the bellcrank posts and install spacers under the cgm bellcranks. I tried it for a couple of races and it didnt really seem to change anything, i dont even think it removed any slop. I would recomend the rayspeed steering setup for a plate chassis car.

Default New SD for the world?

Anyone have the specs on the rumoured limited edition SD they are releasing for the worlds?

no comment, I'm sure there'll be pics up when the worlds starts. It's not a whole new car, just some "updated" bits Yokomo has been testing for awhile, you'll see

Will it be more SSG-like or CGM-like?

Or none of the above?

Masami and Easton both prefer the SSG so if anyone was a betting person you could bet on that.

You like how I'm trying not to give too much away and get in trouble?
