Also thanks for pointing out that lateral balancing is actually to do with the polar moment of inertia - not roll centres.

As I understand it, roll centres are determined by the Angle of the camber links, the angle of the suspension arms at ride height and the lines that intersect with the contact patch of the tyres.

The lower the roll centre is from the CoG, the more the car will roll and therefore produce more grip - the higher the roll centre/closer it is to the CoG, the car will roll less and produce less grip.

Front and rear roll centres are not normally the same and the line that passes through both these theoretical points produce what is known as the roll axis.

If a car isn't laterally balanced, it will obviously effect the CoG but what about the the roll centres? Surely these theoretical points won't be central to the car - so presumably neither will the roll axis? Even if the suspension geometry is symetrical?
Sounds like I need to learn more. JEES I have only been in this hobby since Febuary and I thought I had most of this down...Guess I need to learn some theroritic sceince and Physiscs just to drive competively.....WOW you guys thanks for the leason may I ask what should I be doing with the 2.5 ratio for stock motor and 19T I.E. pinion/spur combos? I am a fairly competent study. Not fully realized but getting there...the R/C knowledge is still pouring in....Feed me oh wise Racers.
Thanks

it's more commonly refered to as raising your roll center but I think some people argue that it's technically the opposite.

I just installed the new Rayspeed swaybar on the car. It fits much better than either the older upper or older lower swaybars kits of the past.

Sorry if this question's been beaten to death, but can any of you that have owned TC3's and the SD offer any comparisons between the two?

Handling and acceleration wise they're pretty even but the SD is tons easier to work on and it has more suspension adjustments.
