lee82gx- you say the price is slightly more than the standard chassis, does that mean it is sold as a kit? i thought it is only sold as an option part

i think utieh is right on the weight savings.

mashimaro:
What i mean is that the LW CGM chassis is a little more expensive than a CGM chassis.

Its RRP is US$70 thereabouts.

and it will not fit, bec of the motor mount of the CGM.

I was about to ask Team PRP to make me a custom upper deck, but this forum has been so helpful that I do not need it anymore, got it dialed and is super stiff as it is!!

And the only thing I broke so far is the drive cup for the prop shaft, have changed it to RS since!!!!

Has anyone have problems withthe drive shaft in the cvd always breaking or falling off?

Peace to all and Happy Racing!!!!

I'm going to melbourne next month, and I want to go shopping (my best talent from God ) so I really need more info from you. Most likely I'll be staying in Saville on Russell St. or Crown Hotel & Casino if my boss so kind on me

well, actually it does fit, i know because i've done it, unhappy with the weight of the cgm chassis, i put a cut off wheel in a drill press and cut the chassis in half, this gave the chassis a lot of flex, to take some of the flex away i installed a ssg top deck, i didn't use the second set of holes from the front, (for the steering racks.) or the second set of holes from the rear (motor mount). and yes there was a difference in flex with or with the upper deck, the car complete with body weighed in at 52.4 oz. i also used the ssg rear shock tower, it weighs .02 oz cgm weighs, .04 oz and the shock holes and camber link holes are indentical. i had to use ae. red springs in front and yok orange in rear to get the chassis to work. but then i ordered the LW cgm chassis and rayspeed shock towers and springs, and right off the pit table it was amazing. a slight adjustment here and there and i tq 19t. first time all year. going with johnbulls setup this weekend with the spool, and some ING tires

if you don't get some practice time soon you'll be considered "REGULAR" when it comes to driving.
