komkit: If you owned a Yok way back then, then you should have know better than to go looking for updated info on YokomoUSA this early!

I found out about YokomoUSA when I bought my first Yokomo, the original MR4TC. We would see stuff on Yokomo's Japan site and talk about for weeks on the message boards before YokomoUSA would even mention it! It got so bad that people would write to YokomoUSA complaining about how long it had been since the site was last updated!

It looks like they've gotten a little quicker since then though. But, honestly, could they have gotten any slower!

Guys, I am very happy for you as you will receive the SD very soon.
This kit is very beautiful and handles great.

However I have some question regarding the strength of some parts such as arms or dogbone.

I ran today again with the SD and had a clean break of one of the front dogbone.
That's really strange, it's just like the same break as Kilruf had, he posted a pic last 21/4.

I heard that Graphite parts will be released in Japan very soon.

my guess is that part of the dog bone gets smaller in size due to machining. if the bones were one size in thickness then it'll be different.

just my thought on the situation...

Your idea is bright however I used the same steel dogbone on the MR4TC SP and they never broke.

I will change the stock universals for MIP one which are one size in thickness
