Set a new lap record today, along with the TQ and win in modified with the CGM at Speedworld Raceway. I've got the spool working pretty good, can't wait till the Reedy race in two weeks

Tested the new graphite gears today and everything went fine, the car spins better than it ever has. If you need replacement gears go for the graphite ones, they don't self destruct like the ones in the pro4

John Bull, Last year alone I went though about six or seven chassis. Like STLNLST said the track we race at becomes 150 deg. in the summer. The rear and the front both twist up. I have one chassis that has 1 1/2mm difference between left and right rear corners.

Yes the car is still one of the fastest cars out there. but the factory drivers go through alot of chassis.

The CGM has a great design. I ran the now for 3-4 race days and the chassis is still flat no flex.

Good run yesterday. I'll be ready for the Reedy after a few changes. I just hope all of this testing that we've been doing works once we put the take off 27's on at the Tamiya track.

Hi Guys,

Just thought I share this with the Yokomo racers, while I was in Japan at a local track, I saw Mr. Kato one of the top 23T racers in Japan, and he actually run Tamiya sway bars (red) front and rear with Rayspeed white springs (front and rear) on his Yokomo CGM. That's about as much as I can get out of him on his setup. But his car was amazing on the track Just thought it was interesting to see Tamiya sway bar actually fit on the CGM

I've been using this same basic setup on three different tracks now using both takeoff and sorex tires and it's been good on all three tracks so I "should" have a good starting setup. especially since it's pretty much Masami's setup from the Reedy last year

I tested last week with a tamiya blue upper sway bar in the front but went back to the yokomo gold upper sway bar
