Default Battery slots

After file the edges of the battery slots on my Rasyspeed chassis, I put the batteries in and battery plate to see how they fit. I found the batteries are line up with battery plate, but some batteries are not in the slots on the chassis. Is that a problem?

Mo- interesting setup...going to have to take a look at that on the track for sure. Interesting idea about the rear sus mounts on the front....

I see you are running AE springs...would any yok springs work to get close to those poundages?

Thanks

Jeff

lem, the tranny ration is 2.353.

Jeff, if I was using Yok springs, I would probably use Green or Pink in the front and Yellow in the rear. One thing on the rear suspension mounts up front are, the mounting holes are slightly different for some reason so you can only hold them in place with one screw. Since they are keyed to the chassis, it not a problem though.

Someone please correct me, are all the molded parts in the CGM kit graphite? I mean ALL the molded parts including the chassis.

Any problems with the new motor mount system-chassis warpage?

Do the trailing steering knuckles come with the CGM kit including being graphite?

What about the new steering system, is it any better than SSG system or the same?

It's been said 100 times, and it's clearly stated in the chassis description, when they it's a carbon graphite kit, they are not going to include any plastic part. Oh yes, the shocks plastic parts are not graphite

Hi friends. Greetings from Malta.

MO. Just been through your webpage. Great site. Well done. Some good results there too.

I haven't been doing much with my Yokes recently though I have still been playing with others. My championship winning car from last year (belt drive) has been sold again and I had a chance to drive it Sunday. Still as glued to the asphalt as when I sold it.

I made up a spool for the SD out of a Corally C4 alloy diff. It works great, but when is someone going to produce one professionally.

I have been driving a customer CGM quite a bit too and am impressed by it's consistantly good handling, even in stock trim.

Son Josh won the National Mod championship again - 6th time National Champ - with his TC3. In fact I have channelled my efforts this season to preparing his car, that's why my SD has had less running.

We have a Drag meeting this weekend. Have entered a rail for son to drive in the open class. In the TC class we will be running our SD and TC3, both with 8 turn motors.

Still follow this thread carefully.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

The rear in the front and front in the rear use a split type mount but the others are the same as the regular car

Default CGM QUESTION

what are the spacers for the rear arm mounts in the front/and front arm mounts in the rear in the CGM for?

What does it do if I add the spacers and increase the height?

And there is another "8" shaped spacers for anti squat? What does it do?

Hi guy,

Got to run the CGM for the first time a week or so a go. We have been running foams on carpet. I am very impressed with the way the conversion kit went together. I did put he ceramic bearing set in the car. Boy, is the drive train free now (as if it was not free before). The car seemed like it had a lot more steering that with the black SD. The car felt much more consistent than black or the silver. The tweak on the car stays where you set it, no changing even with fairly hard hit. My only problem has been breaking arms, I seem to be in one of those funks that every time I put my car on the track I break an arm. Overall I have been very impressed with the CGM version.

Does any body have a base outdoor setup for rubber tires? Our outdoor season starts on April 4.

Later, Lee

Hi,

I noticed that my CGM car has a lot of play at the inner hinge pin of the a-arms? Has anyone experienced the same?
