I have only been racing my Yokes very occasionally this season as I have been too busy helping others out during race meetings.

I do run them quite a bit though. The thick chassis car I run in mod trim with 8 and 9 turn motors. it is great. The SSG has one of our club's control stock 21 turn motors so if there are lots of stock guys at the track then I join them with that.

I should be getting my stock of CGMs this week. The more I read and hear about these cars the more I think what excellent value for money they are. Can't wait to build one.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.
Hi Joe, glad to hear you're finally going to recieve the cars, you should be sure to build one for yourself, you'll like it very much

X-Nay on the XRay..... Sure Mike, I'll let ya try out my CGM... after the racing is done. I don't have any spare A-Arms. CGM might turn into a drift car though once we go outdoors. I'll be doin mainly 12th scale and maybe... just maybe... pondering the idea of Nitro. Just curious if Yokomo is coming out with a new one.

As for the Bash, it should be pretty good. Some of you VA Beach boys coming down... some from S. Carolina too. We might see some spanking goin on.... wonder if anyone will end up selling their 12th scale stuff? hehe...

Anyways, I'll catch ya at the Bash. I'll let ya know how my CGM does this weekend.

Exclamation

Cobra:

I just my Robitronic battery equaliser!

It was a little more expensive than some other dis-charge trays, but it's very well made and quite sturdy.

It's certainly beats discharging each cell 1 at a time

Protrak have a tray which hooks onto their charger.

I haven't got one yet but I understand it is the ultimate, for it gives you all the readings for each cell as it discharges.

Some of my pals have Protraks with the 'intensive care' module - sometimes they loan me their systems when i'm racing. What a shame I don't own one yet.

It's great cos you can find and then get rid of the dodgey cells and keep the good ones.

If only.......

While on the subject of discharge trays, I was able to check out Novak's prototype tray on Tuesday at the track, I'll just say that it is gonna be worth whatever it costs.

No... There are a couple of purple anodized parts on it though (those will have to be redonized)

Their new ESC looks awesome too... Possibly smaller than the Quantum.

new speedo...cool...better than the GT7?

Just read the press release on the NOvak site for the discharger..looks very impressive. Tower has it listed now for $85.00... only $30 more than the RS or Integy Trays... will definately have to get one and should be worth the extra $$...

Yodace- I really liked my SSG last year on the track at Topeka. Actually thought the SSG ran its best there at your home track! I am going to try the CGM this season just for something new.
