I think that is only if you purchase it under the KEIL name... or something like that... I know they re-badge the REEDY/YOK motors and sell them under their own name as well as batteries, and i think they've done it with past YOK sedans as well...

kinda like what Triox does with ALEX..

With just 1 raceday on the CGM car I do definately like it. It feels a lot like my double deck RS car though.

Here's another pic of the car showing how I fitted the reciever pack. Hope this stops my glitch problem, if not, I'll throw in a new ESC on Tuesday.

Randman,if you use 150mah receiver pack, you may have to recharge it very run.

No, a 150 Mah pack lasts 4 runs on a 1/12th, for which each run is 8 min. So with the added weight of the car, I think it will last about 4 runs of 5 minutes aswell.

Randman : with your receiver so close to the ESC you can only have glitch problems. Try putting your receiver on its side (so that the crystal is horizontal, it's much better) and if you still have problems, move it on the servo still being on its side.

It might not be as nice looking, but solve your glitch problem.

Randy, try rotating your speedo 180 degrees to keep the power wires away from the receiver. Or atleast rotate it 90 degrees. Glitching is not a happy thing.

People do two or no more than three runs with 150mah receiver pack in 1/12. Don't forget !/12 use small servo, good standard size servo( I think Randman use 9550 or 9451)produces three times the torque of a small servo (e.g. KO ps947)and just as fast. I don't have the specific data of power consumption of those servos, but I am sure 9451 will draw much more current than ps947.Chris use receiver pack as well in Novak race, but he use 270mah cells.

Hi friends. Greetings from Malta.

RANDMAN.

Rtypec just beat me to it. Rotate the speedo so that the wires are closer to the motor and as far as possible from the receiver.

Also do the same with the power cap.

Hope it helps. Putting the receiver upright as Cobra suggests too. This way it should be even further away from the speedo.

I moved the electrics round on son Josh's TC3 a while back and had terrible glitching. Just moved them back and it was OK.

Here's a pic of his installation.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

I saw someone selling them as spares with his SD in the for sale forum, just requested that he part them out. If they work good, I'll try to get Steve to import them again, but I know he wasnt having good luck with that.

Randman, I put about an inch or two of heatshrink on the antenna where it comes out of the receiver... seems to really help with interference if close to other electronics.
