Johnbull:

Did you have to re-work the Assasin blades to work in the front end of your car? I had to file the corners of on the RC Lab ones so the blades didn't interfere with the blue alloy rings on the diff outs. Other than the holes, they just popped straght in at the back.

Regards

Horatio

Horatio. Greetings from Malta.

The Corally blades fit straight on. that's after filing the slots a bit of course.

Just back from the track, testing motors. The more I test the more confused I get.

I see Chris T is doing the business at the Snowbirds!

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

Cool, thank you! That's one thing that I really dont like about the car is how easilly the outdrives wear out.

Here's a pic of my CGM, just waiting on driveshafts to come in. The flash didn't go off, so it's a little dark

The Yokomo ceramic bearings spin very free, I'm impressed

So pretty. Looks like your so close to running it. Are you taking it to Socal with your normal setup on but with the new CGM chassis to see what differances it makes?

Actually there was a setup I wanted to try out for a while, so I just built this car up with that. Robert Itoh said that the CGM just drives differently than the SSG and Black Special cars, so I should be able to feel the distinct difference from the Rayspeed and this car. I'll know on the first day if I like it better than the Rayspeed.

Plus side is the low flex, should be better on low grip tracks. It's a little heavier than the other variations, but all the weight is down low, so I expect it to handle a little better because of the CG. Also, there is no upper deck to worry about shifting when the car flexes, which seemed to be a slight problem on my Rayspeed with 1 upper deck, but with a doubled upper deck, it didn't happen once. We'll see what happens, it'll be Tuesday before I get to race it.

Aww thanks

No package yet, but mail doesnt arrive until like 3. Standing up the reciever seemed to help, but it still flutters a hair, so hopefully the ferrite will help that.

You need to narrow it down to one car for everything man...

I know that any car can be tuned to any surface, you just need to find a brand you trust and stay with it.
