In my quest for Assasin Blades, I ended up speaking to the designer of the RC Lab chassis, Mike Smith (who just so happens to distribute Corally in the UK), he assures me that the RC Lab's blades are the same thickness as the Assasin ones BUT the shape is better suited for the fit within the Yok diff-outs. Assasin ones have more of a cresent shape, where as the RC lab ones are more square. Apparently this square shape makes it less likely to 'pop' a blade.

To fit the RC Labs blades, .4mm needs to be filed of each side of the slot in the diff-outs. The more accurately this is done, the less chance there is of nasty vibrations occuring.

Corally team drivers are now switching to the RC Lab blades, so they must be very good. I should have them 2 morro and I'll be racing them the day after, so I'll let you know what I think of them.

At last - blades for the Yok SD!!

Hope this helps, and thanks again to Jonbull for putting me in the right direction.
Please send me pics when youre done with this, I am interested to see what it is.

Regards,

Yes Randman, you will have it tomorrow, special delivery from me buddy

Guys,

The kits and the conversion kits are in stock, however, I was only able to pick up limited quantities on them though. Those that pre-ordered, they were processed today and shipped out today.

Just to make it clear, its my real car not RC.. The streets are quite small here in Tokyo (especially where i live) and i miscalculated a corner and put a slight scratch along the door..
Had to get a service aswell, but was supposed to be ready by yesterday!
Maybe if i get it back today i will make a quick trip to Yatabe tomorrow.. Have to sort out entry for the Yokomo cup next month too!

I'm just gonna build it as fast as I can, hopefully it'll go together pretty easilly since I'll just be converting most of the parts over.

Randman,
When you get your kit tomorrow, can you please let us know if the CGM conversion and full kit comes with ALL graphite not just bits here and there? That conversion kit is very attractive alternative for spare parts.

Thanks.
