If the price stays the same from overseas, the kit should go for just under $230 over here

The XXXS is supposedly un-tweakable (if that's a word ) with its tub.
The XXXS is in a class of it's own though. That chassis is super stiff because of the tunnel. The TC3 does tweak on the motor side because of the heat from the motor and heat from the ground when running out doors. Every AE driver out here has a tweaked chassis. I'm curious to see the new yok chassis out at speedworld once the weather heats up.

I've been told you can use a top deck, but it doesnt look like there will be any mount on top of the motor plate.

It's just the two mounts on the front and rear gear boxes if you really feel the need for a topdeck. The big advantage of a stiff tub is that you don't need a topdeck and they don't hold a tweek after a big crash like a doubledeck car can.

Alch - If you don't mind my asking, how much did the CGM kit cost in Japan? I've seen two different prices overseas, $307 and $276 (USD), which is more than my SSG cost in the US, but less than the SSG costs in Japan.

The retail price in the U.S. is about $50 cheaper than the SSG version so it "should" be a little cheaper. don't forget that all the suspension pieces and such are now graphite and it looks like a pretty good deal

Set contents & graphite mold chassis * graphite F & R mold shock tower
* graphite F & R chassis brace & graphite steering linkage & graphite
battery plate * suspension mount (FR and RF) * rear bumper & servo
saber horn & die-cast motor mount * 3 titanium turn buckles * screw

Thats what I was thinking, it looks like the chassis is well reinforced, so hopefully there wont be the need for a top deck...

I translated the Yokomo Japan press release on the CGM. According to them, the "running weight" of the CGM is 1580 g, versus 1500 g for the SSG and Black versions. I thought the CGM was supposed to be lighter than the old cars Any ideas?
