There are 2 local AE sponsored drivers at our track, and about 4 others that have visited, and all of them run the graphite tub chassis on their TC3s. When the IRS plate chassis came out, I heard that it didn't work nearly as well. The BMI one might be different, but I feel tubs are the way to go!!! Tubs tend not to tweak as much. The XXXS is supposedly un-tweakable (if that's a word ) with its tub.

But team drivers are required to run whatever brand they are representing, aren't they? Since AE doesn't make double deck chassis, it wouldn't be right for them to run one.

That's why it's great that Yokomo is making a tub and a double deck chassis, I get the best of both worlds!

I know that they have tried the conversions to see what's up, and I also know they would go to a double deck chassis as part of the kit if it were better...

Not sure if Masami will use it, maybe they will bring out a YMP version..
I know some of the team drivers are using it though!

Default CGM Conversion kit

Does anyone know what bits are included in the CGM conversion kit for a stock SD?

Danjoy25: I was with Alch today at the R/C store and was going to pick up the CGM conversion kit myself. From looking at the Japanese conversion kit manual, the kit includes.... chassis, motor mounts, steering components and shock towers.

Conversion kit was Y11,500

I rather spend that little more for the whole kit to get all the other stuff.

CGM Street price here in Japan is around Y24,500

That thing looks trick! I have held out on not getting any of the many offerings for the SD in terms of conversion kits....stilll running the SSG....but this one is going to be to tuff to pass up!

Will be cool to follow some reports on how the car works.
