Well I heard that they were making people pull off the track for intentional hacks, that definately would have been one of those...

er... I'd say nothing, besides being able to use TC3 gear charts... Gear ratio is gear ratio... whether the change is in the primary or secondary transmission won't change much!!! Just drop a tooth! am I missing something critical here?

Sup Cristian? Long time no speak! Where are you racing now?

Back from racing... car was okayish today, I fought it all day except the last main round, but then it was too late. Oh well, I'll do better next time.

The car is still rock-solid, I don't understand people breaking stuff all the time. I did hit quite a few boards today (fast but sinuous track, 12T motors) , and I only broke one rear A-arm, which is actually my first plastic part breakage since I've owned the car. Plus it was totally deserved.

MAtt howard, mail coming your way for carpet setup advice...

Later,
Paul

Looks like the CGM car and conversion are finally going to be released by the end of the month.

Yokomo usa's site said shipping will start the end of january. I'll call on tuesday to clarify wether they mean shipping from japan to the states or shipping from yokomo usa to the distributors.

Default MIP CVDs

Hey folks,

I know this has been covered in previous posts but on dial-up it takes a lonnngggg time to search back through.

I have had my SD for 3 months and in my last 2 races, I have had a rash of front CVD issues for some reason - broken axles, broken CVD pins etc.. I am looking to replace them with Shiny MIP CVDs.

If I understand correctly, the SD rear axle, front axle and rear bone are the same as the older MR4-TC and the SD front bone is the same as the rear bone on the older MR4-TC.

If I went by this analysis I would need to order the MIP front axle and rear bone for the MR4-TC to fit the front of my SD. I do recall, however, reading that the Front bone and axle would work in the SD with the Yok one-way.

Can someone confirm that MIP Part # 1471 (MIP Shiny CVD Kit for MR4TC) will work in the front of my SD with the Yok front one-way?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Jeff
