For my bearings, i just remove the seals and spray them with motor spray. Then I soak them in a cup of motorspray for about a half our and then spray them out with some compressed air. Seems to work for me ok. After that I just lightly oil with some trinity oil or some other light oil. I dont really put the seals back on because they're cheap bearings and i'm going to replace them soon.

I use a Integy Sparkle "Ultra Sonic Wave" cleaner for shaking the lube loose, then i use RPM's Bearing Blaster for taking the last lube out.
Some great Lube i know about is Megamule. It's the same lube that Xray has in their blue bearingsfor a MUCH cheaper price.

BTW, I got back from the Toys for Tots race today, unfortunately it was rained out, but we got the first round. I set the TQ in pro stock by 3-4 seconds if I remember right, and missed the TQ in 19 turn mod by a couple seconds, qualified 3'rd for that. Supposively the completion of the race will be in a couple weeks.

Sounds like the Yoke is coming to ya now. Even if the race got rained out you still were up front and the car must have been working for you.

Yeah, I'm very impressed with it, people are complaining about not getting the RS chassis to work, but mine works fine... I still may go back to a stock chassis just to see if it'll get any better, or just wait until the CGM is released.

In 19turn, I really didn't figure out how to drive the car until the race was 3 mins through. I've never run 19 turn in my life, but started in the 3'rd position, so it was pretty easy to grab the lead after a couple laps of waiting. Mike Rydwell was in my qualifier, and I could see him coming up on me slowly but surely, and I didn't begin to push the car until he made a pass on me. The last minute or so I was able to reel him back in, but still fell short by a half second or so.

Nice. I actually ran about the same times with the RS chassis on as the stock SSG. I do like the RS shock towers better though.

I figured it wouldn't make much of a difference, but ErikR who qualified 2'nd to me did make the switch from the RS chassis to the black special chassis and said it made the car much better in his mind.

I guess it is just what happens to work for ya. I know my buddy has my Yoke SD and waiting for that tub chassis from Yoke to come out.

The RS chassis worked great for me, I just really do want to try the CGM.

My buddy tweaked his RS chassis. If you set the chassis on a flat piece of glass it is no longer level. It is not cracked at all but we think that the fiber is cracked inside the chassis. Even if you bend it back straight it goes right back to being bent. He did take a big hit with the concrete wall with a 10 turn. Glad it wasn't my car hitting that wall.

I think the CGM chassis with the Rayspeed shock towers will be pretty killer combo with a good amount of adjustments but not overkill.

My RS chassis is twisted on a flat setup board as well, so I figured I had a good amount of the tweak syndrome going around the SD pits. My friend Jon Kerr had an MIP tweak station, and I wanted to put my car on it as a joke to see how far off it was, and we layed it on there, and both the front and back end were dead on, I was absolutely amazed

Maybe I did something right when building this car

Those cheap MIP tweak gauges work well and for the price are hard to beat.
