I found out a little more on the CGM. I guess CML distribution had some prices up. 219.99 for the kit (SD8) and 99.99 for the conversion (SD-CGM)

We received an e-mail from Chris Verano at Yokomo USA that the CGM chassis will be molded graphite.

Regarding collets to mount the rear swaybar, we made our own by cutting the ball off the end of a TC3 sway bar mount, which leaves you the "collet" with a set screw.

Collets are available at your LHS...just meander into the RC Plane section and there should be a ton of them there.

Suzuki made SD parts just one time, that is why now everyone have no stock but since they will release some new outdrives we can expect they make another production of the other parts.
I've just ordered a pair at Speedworld.

It should be in the price range of the FT TC3, right around $250, we'll have to see on that one though. There will be a conversion to turn your regular SD into a CGM one.
Most graphite tubs (TC3, XXXS etc.) are very stiff on their own. Any idea why the Yokomo one wouldn't be as stiff as the TC3's? The material or the design maybe? The car, with a top deck, will definitely be stiffer than any chassis out there though, right?

I still recommend reading the post from RC Zombies after you first posted about the knuckles.

Hey everyone, I ran my SSG last night and got 3rd in the B-main. One problem I am having is that when I work on my car in the pits after running a battery pack, the car is tweaked. Before I go out everything is equal( except for weight). When I am done my car becomes twisted and tweaked. The weird thing is I don't notice it on the track, the car handles great. I know I'm hitting stuff out there. To reset the chassis, I just twist it back with my hands. What can I do to make the chassis more tweak resistant.

There are some choices in terms of stiffer chassis to run on the Sd and a tub chassis is coming out soon for it. But...your post hits on a thought that I have had since I have owned this car (SD). I know we as racers do all kinds of things in the name of going fast. We tune motors, get the most voltage out of our batts, perfect the balance of the chassis and make all kinds of settings and adjustments on the car. I have heard from many that the SD "tweaks"...yet in the same conversation they say the car handles great or like your post says can not feel it on the track. I think if your car is running great in terms of the way it goes around the track...who should care what the little bubble says on a tweak board??? I run the SSG on pavement and carpet. Enjoy racing it and think it is a great car.

Good to see you like your Yok!

Jeff
