Randman: yes the Tobee axles are thicker, at least the side wall anyway where the pin goes through the stub axle. Maybe I can post a picture later.

rtypec: Can you say: "TRF 415"??? (By the way, there's already a thread for that car)

The only place I've broken the stock axles is where the pin goes through to attach the CVD bone

Yeah, that's what I would have figured, but do the tobee crafts extend that to a 6mm thickness?

Couple of questions regarding the SD and parts from the older cars. I bought a used one from a friend and there were several parts from older MR4's. Specifically:

Front hub carriers
Front hubs
Rear CVD's

Are these compatible or should they go to eBay?

stalling in corners

Matt or anyone who may know,

on carpet may car seems to stall in the corners, especially if I give too much steering input. The car seems to roll over on itself (stalls) even traction rolled once or twice.

Set up:
Front:
shock: sss, 61.5mm, gray gt4 srping, trinity 50 wt, #3, out on stock tower, stk. on arm, droop: 6mm, .8 shim under front arm mount, spacer under steering spindel, camber: stk on carrier -middle, 2nd row middle
Rear:
shock: sss, 62.5mm, gray gt4 spring, trinity 45 wt, #3, up and out on tower, 2nd from hub on arm, droop: 4.5mm, no shims/spacers, camber: stock on hub, stock on tower

58.5 mm tires (28 mm wide) tan front (37) magenta rear (35), ride hgt.: front- just under 5mm, rear- 5mm (track min. 5mm), stock arm spacing 3/1 front, 2/2 rear, gm3 104/30, front diff tighter than rear (mod setting), camber set for even tire wear, proto alfa 2.0 small wing.

track size: 93' x 43'

Eric

Fike, check out the latest setup on my website. www.mo-net.ws . That is what I ran last time out and it was pretty good. I have not had it try to traction roll on me once.

What I would try on your setup is:
1. Add some antisquat to the rear to free up the rear end coming into the corner.

2. Lengthen the front camber link to take away some initial steering and give more mid to exit steering.
