Fike- If you put the little black spacer under the steering bellcrank it will lower the front rollcenter and give more steering. I haven't played with that since the car already has plenty of steering

Have any of you guys had a problem with the Rayspeed conversion making the car tweaked. I rebuilt my car with when I got the conversion and when I put it on my tweak station the car was really off. I rebuilt the shocks a few times, checked the droop, ride height and it still really tweaked. Has anyone had this problem?

Randy: I thought you weren't buying any new cars for a while, lol. I'm trying to get SD anodized green

You know I cant stop switching cars Erik I forgot you picked one up as well.

Well my plan for a gold/red car is out, the titanium screws have too much alloy in them to anodize gold so I'm just goin for a chrome/red car, match my paint scheme better anyways

I'm not sure exactly. Slim, one of the pan car guys and I are all getting a batch of stuff anodized. So the pan car guy, AKA Richard, is taking the stuff in this week. He is going to see if the anodizer will also strip of the blue stuff first, but he thinks we'll have the stuff back this week. The guy that is doing the anodizing said he use to do the anodzing for AE.

That's the kit setting though, right?

Randman: One of you guys who has access to an anodizer should work on a Masami replica!!!! Actually that would be pretty awesome. Even without the custom chassis, a green and gold aluminummed SD would be neat. Then just get the new GT350 body and a really good painter and you're all set!

I'm not lookin to duplicate anyone, like to be as origional as I can. I already have a paint scheme as well, not lookin to change that.

Anyone can get stuff anodized though, there are shops everywhere.

Ha ha, no it's not me, I just wrote the article for Georges... But I'm looking forward to see the pictures of your car !

I'm preparing an update to my article, and one on the 414M series anyway, and they will both be translated in english.

Default SHIMMING

Hi,

tell me the kits recommends at least three shims, when i had the tc3 i found two to one shim freed up the drivetrain, does this theory apply to the yokomo

regards brad p

Hi,

You have two solutions :

-You can indeed remove some shims, this will give you a free drive train from the beginning. But this could also cause stripping gears,

- You can put the recommended shims and break in your drive train, using a std motor under 2V running for something like 6 hours (withouh wheels). This is the technique recommended by Steve from Speed Tech and the yokomo USA team drivers.

Has anyone used the new graphite parts yet??? Is there a difference in strength? I clipped a board last week and broke both the C hub and the axel carrier... The only place I see the graphite parts are Rainbow ten and their site is a major pain to find things...
