If anyone is interested in lock diff (aka Spools) for the MR-4TCSD, let me know, since I'm inquirying around for spools for other cars, I can look into making them for the SD as well.

Green and blue are new springs added to the rayspeed spring chart.

They are a tad longer than the yokomo springs and you need the rayspeed spring holders.

I notice i get more body roll with the rayspeed springs compared to the yokomo sets. So I would assume the spring rate on the yokomo's are alittle higher compared to the rayspeed (correct me if i'm wrong).

Track: Yatabe Arena

Was using Rayspeed:

Front: Red Rear: Yellow

switched to Yokomo:

Front: Green Rear: Yellow

Less roll with the Yokomo set!

Kinda off topic but I need shims and washers for my SD and can't find them online anywhere. Don't say my LHS cause he has more NASCAR diecast (yikes) than anything else. I wish I lived in CA.

I wish someone had a spring tester and the rayspeed springs do we could get a real numerical value... When trying to tune, stiffer to softer doesn't mean much in my mind...

vtl1180ny I agree with you on the spring rates. I would like a number value just so I have some type of comparison.

I have 2 full sets of AE springs also... Having a numeric value would allow me to utilize those springs along with the Rayspeed...

vtl1180ny,

I just had someone tested all the springs for actual spring rate with an engineering grade spring dyno. I'm in the process of organizing them. I'll post them on our website as soon as possible.

Matt,

do you mean the entire gear box? (SD-302 part number) Wouldn't that be rather heavy? It would stiffen the car a whole lot, but it would be rather heavy. If we make it into a two piece open gear box style (like the R2...I promise, it'll be the last time I bring up the fish ) it might be a lot lighter.

I think the gear box Matt is referring to something like the Square version for the Evo3
