Well if you want to make the drivetrain light... get the Ti Rear and Front input shafts. Cut's rotating weight down alot. Made by Square. They also make Ti axles and bones. I'd get Ti for front. For rear you can settle with Tobee craft Aluminium bones with Square Ti axles. Remember though.. these are gonna cost ya. For main shaft, the graphite will twist on ya with a mod. I can't remember, but somewhere is a thinner aluminium shaft and possibly a Ti one as well. Tobee has a thin aluminium main shaft, but not sure if it'll hold out for mod. Anyways, good starting point for reducing drivetrain weight.

As for RaySpeed Springs, depends on setup and track. I run White/Blue set. Ti screws are nice and priced pretty good too! Hmmm can't think of anything else off the top of my head....

Rayspeed springs? Ti screws? Help i have no experience of this car at all. Thanks Rick

Sure, I ran the motors down to 8x1. I don't think 12x1 is the problem.

One of these day when I brave enough I will try 7X2

Default I went shopping today... Look what I got

Hey everyone,

Went to an R/C shop in San Francisco today that I used to go to all the time before I moved North. Little birdie told me he had these parts so as soon as they opened I gave them a call to let them know I'm coming to buy the stuff:

RAYSPEED ULTIMATE CONVERSION KIT

YOKOMO ALUMINUM PARTS:
ALL THE SUSPENSION HINGE PIN BLOCKS AND THE ALUMINUM BATTERY HOLDER:

I'm building as I type... Should be done by tommorow and I'll post more pics. Shakedown and first practice will be this Friday at Speedworld. First race will be on Saturday, same track.

I probably will not TQ the novice class but, at least I'll look good coming in last!!! That's what this is all about anyways right?

Yup, called Lawrence at 11:05am this morning. Asked him to put it on hold . UPS showed up with it at 2pm, I was there at 2:30pm. He tried ordering more from his distributor but looks like they are backordered! Lucked out I guess! I almost ordered this stuff from Rainbow10 last night but, just didn't.

What hobbyshop had all those alum Yoke SD suspension parts in stock already. Hell Yoke don't even show them on their website. I want to buy them. I did find one rear r+2 block on Ebay and it is in Japan. I would rather just call a shop and place an order.
