Default Anti-roll bars?

What is the difference between the stock anti-roll bar set and the tuning part, which is a upper roll-bar. In other words:does the different mounting position affect handling in a special way?

Thanks,
ingo

Hey Guys,

Can somebody explain what difference is between an upper and lower sway bar. I have been running the car since it first came out with great results, but never figured out what they ment by upper and lower. I have been using a Buds AE .075 bar on the front for carpet racing. In most other respects my setup is very close the carpet setup posted last week.

Thanks, Lee

i have lately been testing on carpet with foam tires, and have had great success. i have only been to the track two days for setup work and already my lap times are 1-2 tenths lower than other factory drivers that run there. chassis stiffness is not an issue as long as you are running the black chassis and top deck. i like my car to be really stiff on foams so i actually doubled up the top decks on the car. the car is like a rock now and works very well on plaids and purples. i do not run rubber tires on carpet as my local track does not run rubber tires in the 19T and Mod classes...

What are the part numbers for the black SD chassis, midbrace, and upperdeck?

Peter - Care to share you setup for foam tires running on carpet?

Later,
Mark

Lee
I got the upper bar set- Ill send tomorrow with J for you to try- the upper bar set works better on bigger track - it attaches on top plate and leverages higher than lower bar set, probably no good on carpet

As to running foam on carpet, I haven't run it yet, but some people at Rain who have have noticed that a 28mm Jaco rubs on the front knuckle. To fix this they true the side of the wheel, making the front tire 27 mm.

Gezuz, what's with the "Setup BLAD"? Just wondering out of curiousity. Great job with the setup sheet, now that's what I call a real racer's setup sheet.

I spotted a spelling mistake under the rear shocks ends. 'Kort' is there instead of 'short'.

Great setup sheet. Very nice and easy to see. I just might have to take it to the printers and have some nice colored ones made instead of black and white.

Here is a pic of the Shooters Upper Deck Camber mounts.

Has anyone tried Yokomo Inch up Foams? Just something to consider for those with rubbing ballcups...
