I posted a foam set-up for carpet back a couple of pages (89). Only ran 2 batteries on rubber so I can't really give you one for that. Car is pretty good for stock and should be running mod next week and have something for that also.

Fuzzy,

I had tried the Yok and had trouble getting it up to speed (carpet, stock, foams). I tried multiple set up's and gearing and "I" just could not get it up to speed.

FYI. Dave Johnson is running the Yok and doing very well with it I hear. Granted he is a great racer, but he is very pleased with his Yok SD.

Is anyone running the black carbon version of the car? How does it compare to the SSG?

Hi there
Yeah, I have the latest RCworld.

Main differences I can spot:

1) servo mounted "sideways"
2) no provision for the center stiffener
3) lower deck has weight reduction cutouts
4) upper deck uses countersunk screw, seems to have slighty thicker "webbing" than the original. no antenna mount
5) Antenna mounted on the lower chassis besides reciever
6) uses normal black carbon (not SSG)

Cheers

Are the front and rear shock towers any different? I assume they would do something different to mount the shocks more vertical.
