The shock lengths will need some adjustment to get the right ride height and droop - 60mm is too short for anything.

The alternative caster block mounting effectively raises the roll centre, which will smooth the steering out a bit on open, or grippy tracks, but it will take away total steering as well.

Yokomo GT4 springs are stiffer and would suit high grip surfaces.

Someone told me that the black graphite is stiffer than the SSG.

Yeah, it's showing up on their Today's New Items list:

http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/data/enew.htm

Most likely it will include the front 1-way.

I have the yok 1/12 ssg and it is a little softer than regular woven graphite (like on the associated 12l) comparatively speaking...

When I raced with Chris Tosolini at an event in Tulsa, OK, I asked him about the "Black Car". Chris said his understanding was that the car would infact be slightly stiffer graphite. He did not think it would be so much more stiff that people running the SSG would be at a disadvantage. I know for the asphalt/concrete racing I do that the SSG seems to be more than ridged enough. The black car looks like a cool car!

Looks like the Yok ran well at the recent Reedy race across the sea...lol I think Yok has a great plateform!

I know when I first saw the SSG car I loved it because it's different, now that the carbon fiber car is coming out, I want it because it's different... I have problems.

shipping for a car kit from Rainbow ten is not that cheap is it? I ordered from them before, the shipping cost me about 4700 yen... which is more then 10 bucks US dollars. they shipped via EMS... is there a cheaper shipping option that I was not told?
