I dunno if it could be the outdrive ring, even at full droop, the pin on my dogbones is about 3-4mm away from it. Dont know if he built the car differently though...

Hi guys. greetings from Malta.

Ran the Sd for the first time in mod yesterday with a Corally 12 x 1 motor.

I geared it up same as my son's TC3 and was quite impressed with duration. On 2 packs of lousy old cells which wouldn't last 4 minutes, it started to dump at around 5.

Tomorrow i'll run again with some decent cells.

At first the understeer was much more pronounced than in stock but I soon dialled it out. I also forget to reprogramme the GT7 from prog 6 (stock) to prog 1 (soft mod). It was alot more driveable when I programmed it correctly.

I have just sent Tobbee Craft a cheque for some bits. They are incredibly cheap.

Does anyone have an E mail address or web address for Team Suzuki?

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

Wow, team suzuki's site really sucks, I'm flattered that all they show is SD parts, but shouldn't there be a little more than that? lol

Yes, those Tobee bits are very inexpensive. My dogbones are holding up well even with a 8x2 Reedy Ti. They are almost a quarter of the price of the Yoke ones. Even cheaper than the stock steel dogbones. The lightened main center shaft is holding up as well. Don't have a problem.....yet.

For that price you could have gotten the MIP front and rear set. $52 just for the alu dogbones?
With the MIPs, you get everything, axle, dogbones, etc.

Sometimes R10's stock list is not up to date...a month ago they showed the SD front way in stock. and they later told me it was not.

I find the MIP dog bones and axles more durable than the Yok's. I've broken 2 YOK axles so far... after switching to MIP's..have broken any yet.

THeGame, the Durham track will have that long @$$ straight with hopefully a technical side as well.

Well ran the SD today at the local track. Practiced/tuning Mod this time. Car as some midcorner push with the current front shock tower setup. Didn't have too much time to work on it. Sun was goin down. Blah blah blah.

Oh and the track didn't have any Losi Alfa bodies. So I'll have to wait til they do! So I had to paint up my other Stratus 2.0 last night.

Here's a pic....

Here's a pic of the local track (Rosewood/Goldsboro) down the road. It's not the Durham track. That's an hour away. Maybe I'll take of pic of it this weekend.
