Hi guys. greetings from Malta.

I got as bit of a cold shower yesterday.

Every evening for the last 2 weeks i have been running some 4 packs on my son's mod TC3, improving it every day. My lap times have come down accordingly from mid 23s to early 22s, with the very occasional 2nd lap (when the cells are still at their best) in the late 21s.

Josh (son) came down yesterday, not having been anywhere near the track for a couple of weeks. Did 1 pack, in which all but the last 2 of his 14 laps were in the early 21s. Best lap 21.09.

If that isn't deflating I don't know what is.

Any other Dads like to console me with similar experiences!

regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

Set Up Idea-

One of the most useful tuning tools I had when I was racing my xxx-s was an article from RC Car. The article was written by Todd Hodge. In the article is went through his process to setting up his losi sedan. I know it really helped me to learn the car and able to tune much better! I would really love to see a similar article on the Yokomo SD. Or if someone could even write one up...lets say in their spare time...hint hint...lol

I just think some concrete info on how to set this new car up would go along way in making our racing more enjoyable and successful. Just an idea.

As of yet...the gold/greed SD will not be available. That was made especially for Masami.

Johnbull, I will propably try picking up some of the MR-4TC castor blocks once I get everything else set up on the car, just fine tune it with castor, but that is a great thing to know! Is there any difference with running the upper link a different angle than stock?

Is anybody bringing their SD out to Ripon Speedway this weekend to race? Maybe you'd like to pit together?

I'm taking this week off but will probably make the treck down to Ripon in the next couple of weeks. The NORRCA nats and speedworld cup kinda burned me out the last couple of weeks.

You can't be burned out on racing! It must be the sunburn!! jk I totally understand. Do you have a setup that would work good there? I haven't raced at Ripon yet. I've so far been sticking to the south bay...

I haven't raced my SD there yet so I can't really help with setups yet.

Hi Guys,

I asked about the black SD and it is actually coming soon. We have a few more of the SSG kits left and I have a feeling once the black SD kit comes out, it might be more difficult to get the SSG version.

Hi James. Is there anything you can tell me about your setup for the track and what the track is like? If I can get my SD at least a bit dialed before 2pm tomorrow I'll head out there...
