Yeah and the asymetrical steering blocks and rear hubs...too.

The parts count for what we'll have to carry will be light...very light!

Speedworld probably didnt update their description to what the US Spec kit will be. The JP ones are with a oneway, the US with 2 diffs.

Hi Guys,

I know this is the MR-4TCSD thread, so I'll go brief on the "cuda" The R2 is actually one of the car that's been giving Yokomo the toughest competition in Japan (Japan manufacture gauge market share by looking at the racers at the sportsman nationals). The construction of the R2 uses a lot more alloy parts, which makes everything more precise especially the drive train. I was able to get my car to free spin for about 18-20 seconds.

For more info, you guys are welcome to check out the two Barracuda threads on this website. The car will be more pricey than the SD, but I personally feel the price is justified. As of right now, we have around the same amount of pre-order for both cars.

and I promise, no more "cuda" talk on this thread

As for specs, our specs are the latest available from Yokomo USA (I bug these guys at least a couple times a day )

Thanks for reading guys

limited edition

limited edition was only for the kit supplied with the ssg decks

this is almost certain to go into production

the will be(what i have read) and kit with tub and molded top deck shock tower later, maybe cheaper. that was ment to replace the kit with ssg decks, so parts support was never an issue - you would be able to by the ssg parts seperataly any way

Tom- the car with the SSG will not be a limited edition kit, and the car with the plastic chassis and lower price will be out late summer but will not replace the car with the SSG parts. Basically they are doing the opposite of what other manufacturers do, they are releasing the top-of-the-line kit first and the sport kit second.
