Hi guys. greetings from Malta.

Just seen the results of the NORRCA race in the Orion site.

I see quite a few of the guys writing in this thread placed well. Matt Howard was well up the A main. Well done. Mo was well up the B main.

Apart from Matt Francis who we all know drives a Losi, what were the other guys in the A driving.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

It looks to me like Square is making some really useful parts for the SD, happy to see that.

I have a rear shock tower on the front of the car to stand the shocks up a little bit, do you guys think that setup will work well with a 1 way?

john bull- second in mod at the norrca nats was Andrew Swanson running an Xray, third was Lloyd Dasonville running a tc3 and I was forth.

Had a chance to run the graphite shaft today in my SD and proceeded to split it while running a 7x2. I wouldn't recommend it for modified use but for stock it should be just fine.

Dang, I didn't think that splitting the shaft was possible, you got motor! You guys think the tobee craft shaft will hold up any better?

Default setup help for sd.

Help I need some suggestions:

I have had limited time with the car due to weather in New England as it has rained just about every weekend for a month!!

I am using a diff in the front as my lhs has not recvd oneway or parts to make a solid diff.

I race on large asphalt track with medium to high grip.

I have trying to dial out on power push I have been using stock roll center, 40 wt oil front and back and pink springs front and back with stock roll bars, 6 mm droop on front and 4mm droop on rear....the car just will not turn in hard enough under power the car has good turn in off power and rotates well thru corner once the weight transfers when I let off throttle.

Any suggestions on things to try?

And it is raining again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys. greetings from Malta.

MATT HOWARD.

Thanks Matt for the info. Surprised to hear about your prop shaft. I am running a shortened TC3 carbon one on my SD. I will run that in mod too. it holds up on the Tc3. Should hold up on the Yoke. You can see it in the pics I posted some 10 days ago.

Actually we ran the new slim TC3 alloy shaft on my son's car a while ago and it bent like a banana so we have gone back to the original carbon shaft.

I have 2 more race meetings in stock, then I have to go to mod for next season. (Our rules say that top 3 in stock race mod next season, and i have won the championship in stock). I'm really looking forward to it. I have been driving my son's mod TC3 this last week and can run as quick as any of the mod runners except him, so I shouldn't have any trouble with the Yoke which i think handles better anyway.

Well done again and thanks.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.
