Hi guys,

I don't run a Yokomo personally but I'm overdue on the number of parts that I've borrowed off a good friend. You know the story.. get to the track.. need this, need that.

So I'd like to track down a spool for a CGM.
Any pointers? Places to buy? And a recommendations? (TiR?Team Bomber?Yokomo?Rayspeed?)

Cheers in advance..!

If so here is the regular SSG SD Non drift.

The steering looks the same, I dont see why it would be diffrent to drift. I think the main differences in the drift cars are the shocks/springs, the tires, the body/wing and probably the gearing you run. Also if you have a solid front axle, or a ESC setup specifically for drift. Change these things first and give the 1/10 EP Touring race scene a try (drifting is for boats ).

the real difference in drifting and racing is angles and tires. i drift with my race body and the same gearing. all i do is swap out my turnbuckles and tires and im ready to race. what parts do you need? i can get the numbers. from yok. i know a guy who works for yok usa.

what about those drift specific tires, that sometimes have hard plastic rings inside? Does that make difference or is it only angles?

plastic rings are on the outside. that does make a difference. but the angle gives you more grip. i actually drift on rubber tires though. angles make a difference with plastic rings though. if you got yok drift ring tires then you add a lot of camber to get more rubber on the ground and have less slidage.
