Hi to all....i need a good starting point setup .....we use 26mm foams on a medium grip asphalt track.
here is a photo of the track

i've an SDW but think that an lcg-sd setup will work well as starting point....

Thanks very much

caltech1:

you can try the yokomo's hardened front universal. That is what im using in my LCG, I just order another one for my BD as it is almost bomb proof!

Smile HARDENED UNIVERSALS

G'day aoizip,

I was advised by Pops that when you use a spool at the front you do not use the hardened universals at the front as they are to soft, (the CVD pin) and will break.

As alluded to in an early post the better way is to get No 53 drill blank and make your own CVD pins,(make them longer and put a slight notch mid way thru for the grub screw to locate into). (rocketron tip)

Thankyou for the assistance
Calvin.

Default Fiber Lyte

hey guys
does anyone in the states cut chassis, I've contacted BMI and they are not willing to cut a chassis for a LCG any other companies out there?

I've got an email into Fiber-Lyte (http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/) they seem to have made some pretty cool stuff for the Yokomo's....hopefully they can help me out.
thanks

Default you got it

Dotman you got it.
if you get a chance email Fiber Lyte requesting they make an LCG chassis..
i've already done so...but the more request the better chances of getting someone to do.

Guys, you will not be disappointed by Andrew East's work (Fiber Lyte). Its worth every penny. olhipster, post up how much he wants per chassis, maybe if some of us chip in, we can get a deal going.

Everytime I have talked to Andy East via email he told me he would not ship items to the US. I have an Andy Easy chassis but I got it from "Acutts" who was selling it new/used (brought it never used it) from the UK. If Andy East changes his mind I want one as well.

i've gotten a response from Fyber Lyte.
they said that they are willing to do the 3.5 carbon fiber LCG chassis.

they gave me an estimate of GBP60.00 - GBP80.00 plus shipping.

how many of you guys are interested..

and if you guys could kindly email them just so they can see there is a demand for it.

They responded to me too. He also said he'd give a 33% discount if we could order 20 at once
