ickvanovs - The CGM is actually a 'later version', in that, the SSG is the 'first version' of the MR4TC-SD series. In fact, Yokomo came out with a CGM conversion kit for the SSG and/or Black Special models.

What you can consider in the future for your CGM is converting it to an LCG. Conversion kits are available for this.

The SSG uses a silver graphite chassis, (the wave then ). The Black Special is the SSG's black colored counterpart. The CGM is an all graphite (including C hubs, arms, etc) and tub chassis version. The CM is an all plastic version (including shocks) of the CGM. This is what comes with the drift kits of Yokomo. The LCG looks like the Black Special at first glance. It definitely has a lot upgrades though - bulkheads that lower the driver train, new design front and rear arms (same as the BD), new steering, towers, etc.

The WCSP was what Masami used for the last worlds. The BDM, on the otherhand, is what he will use in the coming worlds to regain the title (hopefully).

Personally, a must-have for all models is the Yokomo Front Wide Bumper. . . I 'never leave home without it'.

Default LCG

Hey guys, just dropping a message.
I've decided to sell off my LCG..no racing for a little while for me but I'm keeping my BD for now.

here is the Sale thread link on RCtech
Yokomo LCG RCtech sale thread

XXKat..
You will be very happy with both the BD and LCG...if you're running mod use the BD and the LCG for stock and 19T....very similar to setup.
As someone mentioned a few post back, the only must have option is the Yok extra wide bumperm just make sure to trim down the Kydex down just a bit below the flex bumper. I didn't know to do this, hit a board a bit to hard and chipped the front of the chassis.

..It's all your fault..I'm looking for a oneway for the BD.The last time I raced I was so lazy the week before it came down to "I'm racing whatever car has electronics in it".. That was the TC4.This week I'm going to race the BD..It has radio gear in it..

Titanium screws and aluminum ball nuts, the new graphite drive shaft, Sq. titanium front and rear input shafts, graphite spur and pinion gear sets both front and rear. The goal with the CGM is to get the car and drive train as lite and free moving as possible.

The next up-grade for the CGM is the newer LCG, you should still be able to find a conversion kit for it. Many people favor the SSG (silver graphite version ) still. The Silver graphite is more flexible than the SSG Black chassis. Most people prefer the Silver chassis for asphalt.
