Unhappy Sanwa-Airtronics HELP PLEASE!!

I just bought an M8 with an RX-211. I was reading the manual and it says I need a Z connector or some crap for any (non sanwa) other brand servo or ESC to work with it? I have a KO-VFS2000 ESC and a Futaba s9550 servo. Will these work with the rx-211?

Yeah, they will work. However, sanwa Z connector is slighty smaller (less than 1 mm) than futaba J connector. Cut the tabs on the futaba and on the VFS-1 and try. If that doesn't work because they're still bigger, with a olfa cutter, take an slice (very thin) from both small sides of the connectors.

Yup - snip the tabs off the futaba connector. Everything fits just fine.

Lastly - check the order of the wires in the connectors to see if they agree with the sanwa diagram. If not - just change the order by lifting the little tabs and pulling the female connectors out.

Simple..

Last thing - as a former M8 user..

Be careful chucking new high capcity aa's into the Tx, or ready made Tx packs. The M8 and M11 have a small, low amp rated fuse that tends to blow if the packs is fresh off the charger...

So charge the pack overnight and use the next day to be safe...

Nothing terminal - even if it blows. Just replace. But it's fiddly..

Enjoy!
